Holiday LomoAmigo: Superlighter
36 42 Share Tweet21,000 analogue photos… You think that’s an impossible number for one LomoHome to have? Well, that’s what you think!
For this man from Italy has been shooting film for more than a decade now, gaining that number of Lomographs is most likely to happen! And hey, it doesn’t hurt that we are very familiar of him.
And as the holidays are about to start, we’d love to know more about him and his plans! Say hello to superlighter, our Holiday LomoAmigo!

Name: Aurelio Laloni
LomoHome: superlighter
Location: Osimo, Italy
Tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living? What are your interests?
I am currently employed in a factory, I work at home as a decorator, and I hand paint stuff. Apart from the arts in general, food and liquor are my main interests in communicating with other people, trying to evolve together in peace and friendship.
How long have you been a Lomographer and how did you find out about the Community?
I discovered Lomography in July of 1997 at the Polverigi Theater Festival where a big LomoWall was built. There I bought my first LOMO LC-A+ and never stopped using it!
What are your plans for the holidays?
No plans for the next holiday but maybe a short trip here in Italy. Hopefully there’s a lot of interesting places in our country!
Any New Year’s resolutions for 2013?
Yes, to don’t forget who I am. :)
If you could recommend one movie and one song to everyone, what would they be?
Fellini’s La Dolce Vita and Que Sera Sera by Doris Day. Followed by Anarchy in the UK by the Pistols; Sex Pistols of course!
What’s your favourite analogue camera to shoot with? Why?
Everything with a lens and a shutter. Hahaha! But it’s the classic LC-A+! I love this camera because it is light and pocket-able plus it lets me archive always good results, day and night.
What’s the next camera you’d like to get your hands on?
Next camera? I don’t know, really since I’ve collected more than 150 cameras… Oh no, wait a moment! I like to have an Horizon! I need it so bad!
What’s your favourite memory from this year?
A couple of Lomo-meetings in Rome and the endless summer time!
And now for the toughest question – What has been your favorite photo from the past year? Why?
Wow! A really tough question! Not necessarily my favourite but I wanna choose this one:

Why? Because someone said that this photo reveals a lot of the romantics in me!
Any holiday shout-outs or tips for your fellow Lomographers?
Yes, keep your brain in a safe place and let it take a little fresh air from time to time! And don’t follow your cameras but let your cameras follow you.
